Well yesterday I went for an eye exam. I have to say it was the first time I ever had my eyes checked. (I guess that’s a good thing). Anyway I think the worst was dilating my eyes and the light. Last night my eyes were really tired so went to bed pretty early. This morning my eyes feel like they had a work out! The glasses I need are just for reading. I always had good eyes till I hit 40! LOL oh well such is life. I got a nice pair with light blue frames

Journey in Parenting
Well I thought that i would start a blog to keep friends and family updated and to keep a journal.
I am Kim, and this is my blog, a way to vent, rant, and just what makes me feel good.
From 2007 to 2011 I must say has been an up and down journey that has changed mine and Jason’s lives. We have been through so much, good and bad. We dealt with an unplanned already made family, custody issues, blending a family, moving and a loss of Jay’s mom and dad.
Together and their uncle Mike are raising my niece (Ashley) and our nephew (Hunter) both kids are the sweetest you will ever meet. Hunter has made the most of his life going from a very hurt and angry boy, to now a well adjusted happy pre-teen. And Ashley well she is amazing in herself at 4 years old she adjusts well to pretty much anything that comes in her path. I am in no way saying kids do better without the bio parents, but sometime you have to step up to the plate.
With Hunter going into his second year of junior high next year (7th grade) and Ashley has one more year in head start then on her way to kindergarten for her I am looking at many more years of Challenges raising two kids, but looking forward to it and having fun along the way.
It's amazing how fast they grow up.
